Wine Making:

Pinot Noir grapes are harvested a t thepeak of ripeness and brought t o thewinery during early morning hours.The grapes are hand sorted and gentlydestemmed into small open topfermenters. Fermentation takes place for7-14 days with three punch downs perday. It's then pressed off, drained downand settled into 40% new French Oakbarrels for aging.

Flavor Profile:

Beautiful red jew tones. Aromas of red raspberry, cherry, cola and spice notes. Flavors of sweet red fruit, with hints of cinnamon spiceand sweet vanilla.

Appellation Notes:

The cooler parts of the Russian RiverValley AVA produce wines that tend t oshow natural radiance and well-integratedtannins, revealing expressive layers of redfruit i n Pinot Noir.
